Bugaboo & Bobbie Burns are two sister lodges set in the remote wilderness of Canada's Columbia Mountains. Accessed only by helicopter - or highly adventurous hikers - these two lodges offer the perfect introduction to heli-hiking for families, couples and solo trekkers alike.
This four-day package affords a choice of accommodation at either Bugaboo or Bobbie Burns, helicopter transfers and assisted hiking with professionally certified mountain guides, allowing guest to experience the wilds of British Columbia at their absolute best.

Arrive in Calgary, a place buzzing with innovative energy while embracing its rich western heritage. Perhaps enjoy a visit to the iconic Calgary Tower. In the evening, embrace Calgary’s vibrant entertainment and culinary scene.

Lodge arrival
This morning transfer from Calgary airport to the helipad for a flight to your choice of lodge.
Bugaboo Lodge sits about 1600 metres above sea level and features 35 rooms with private bath, a wood and stone bar-lounge and spa area with sauna and steam room. The lodge is a great base for some of the regions best hikes including the Skyladder ice climb and some first-class glacier treks.
Bobbie Burns Lodge, named after the great Scottish poet, is set amidst some of the region's most remote mountains. Accommodating up to 44 hikers, the lodge features 24 comfortable en-suite rooms as well as an outdoor whirlpool, sauna, games room, impressive wine cellar and spacious lounge area with a roaring fireplace. Along with a number of fantastic treks, the lodge is also the base for some of the region's more adventurous activities, including the Valley Bottom adventure trail with seven zip lines over raging rivers and a spectacular high ropes course.

Heli-Hiking
Spend two action-packed days exploring the regions around the two lodges and making the most of the outstanding hiking that this area has to offer. During the course of a day you can expect to move three to four times so as to experience a wide range of settings and landscapes, travelling back to your chosen lodge each evening for a sumptuous dinner and evening of story-swapping with your fellow guests.

Luggage Limit
The dress is informal, so there is no need to pack an extensive wardrobe. Limit your luggage to one piece plus one small carry-on bag per person for the Lodge. Excess luggage can be stored at the Banff Office. Luggage tags will be distributed at the departure point in Banff and at the helipad.
