After making the most of your complimentary airport lounge access, you'll fly to Halifax where upon arrival pick up your rental car and make your way to your overnight hotel. Located in the heart of downtown Halifax, overlooking the city's famous Public Gardens. The magnificent lobby with its gold leaf ceiling hand-finished in 1928 by Italian craftsmen.

Halifax / Summerside Prince Edward Island

North Cape Coastal Drive
After breakfast in Summerside head for the North Cape Coastal Drive – this area offers a unique blend of the province's best sightseeing, natural attractions, cultural experiences and engaging people. Visit the picturesque fishing and farming communities, historic architecture, and secluded beaches. Visit the u-pick operation in Arlington with over 40 varieties of apples, pears & plums, something to suit everyone’s taste. Continue on to Elmsdale where you can pick your own strawberries and get a tour of the grounds. Why not visit Milligan’s Wharf - this historical lobster fishing wharf in West Prince includes a very casual local experience with a menu cooked fresh to order. Spend two nights at the West Point Lighthouse Inn, where you can enjoy lobster on the deck, picnics at the beach, and shuck local Malpeque oysters, whilst enjoying the finest sunset in Atlantic Canada.

Green Gables Shore
Today drive along the Green Gables Shore which offers the perfect combination of Island scenery, culture and food artisans! Visit Kensington and the old stone railway station - a National Historic Site as well as well as Indian River to view the dramatic church of St. Mary. Continue on to Cavendish - the home of Anne of Green Gables and Avonlea - the village of Anne of Green Gables. Visit Anne of Green Gables Chocolates – they are handmade before your eyes at Avonlea Village. Continue on to Winsloe and take a tour of the Island Farmhouse Gouda Inc. – For quality cheese straight from the source, venture no further than the Cheese Lady’s Gouda. Visit the farm, observe from the viewing window but don’t miss the best part – samples! Continue on to Dalvay Bay.

Dalway Bay
Day at leisure to enjoy a relaxing day. You can choose from many of the onsite activities such as Biking, Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddle boating and so much more. Later you can visit the nearby Prince Edward Island National Park - home to sand dunes, barrier islands and sand pits, beaches, sandstone cliffs, wetlands and forests. These diverse habitats provide a home for a variety of plants and animals, including the endangered Piping Plover. Tonight dine at Dalvay – which is memorable for cuisine, ambience and personal service.

Dalway / Points East Coastal Drive
Depart Dalvay Bay and explore the northern portion of the Points East Coastal Drive. Continue to St. Peter’s Bay, a good stopping point for shopping, dining, theatre and music, and just a short distance away visit the spectacular dune system at Greenwich National Park, visit East Point Lighthouse and climb to the top, play on the beaches and have the sand at Basin Head actually “sing to you”. Continue your drive to Bay Fortune. Tonight you can dine at the property – The chefs create a brand new menu every day using ingredients from our organic farm, herb gardens and a roster of Prince Edward Island farmers, fisherfolk, foragers and culinary artisans. From 6pm to 7pm they offer fresh shucked oysters, hors d’oeuvres and artful cocktails served in our historic kitchen, location of Chef Michael Smith’s first cooking show The Inn Chef. The Feast begins at 7pm as we light the FireWorks with every form of live-fire cooking known to man. Dinner is served family-style at our long butcher-block tables overlooking Bay Fortune. You can expect freshly baked bread, smoked fish, house-made charcuterie, seafood chowder, our famous home-grown house salad and best of all, wood roasted meats, fish and vegetables all prepared before your very eyes. Make sure you save room for our out-of-this-world desserts!

Points East Coastal Drive
Today you can relax and enjoy some of the onsite amenities. You will find a Yoga and Meditation Instruction onsite and you can participate in any one of the many classes offered. Absorb the legendary hospitality and Maritime charm while wandering the beautiful grounds and discover rows of heirloom vegetables and fragrant herb gardens growing on our organic farm. Sip a cocktail mixed with locally crafted gin on our front lawn overlooking Bay Fortune.

Charlottetown
Depart Bay Fortune and drive South along the Points East Coastal Drive to Woods Island to visit the Point Prim Lighthouse before heading to Charlottetown – The Capital of Prince Edward Island. In the afternoon you will tour downtown area of Charlottetown on foot. Stroll along the streets and retrace the footsteps of the Fathers of Confederation. Be sure to visit Founders’ Hall – Canada’s Birthplace Pavilion or the National Historic Street called Great George. Just steps away from Province House, is Victoria Row – it is here that “Anne of Green Gables – The Musical” has been delighting audiences for 47 years.

Charlottetown Exploring
Today join the Taste of the Town Foodie Tour of Charlottetown - a culinary walking tour of downtown Charlottetown. This tour features tastings of unique Island foods such as Lobster Sushi, mussels, craft beer, chocolatte dipped potato chips, hand cut fries, Lebanese specialties and COWS Ice cream. In the afternoon visit one of the many Farmers Markets available in the downtown core of Charlottetown. This evening why not enjoy a unique dining experience in the Lucy Maud Dining Room, One Locations Two Great Culinary Experiences – this is a training restaurant for The Culinary Institute of Canada. The students are under the guidance of world class chef instructors and prepare extraordinary culinary creations using the very best the fields and waters of PEI have to offer. Come for the food, enjoy the view overlooking Charlottetown Harbour and savour the Experience.
