Rui's passion for travel began when he was young, exploring his native South Africa. After finishing his studies, Rui set off to see Europe and the UK. We think he found something he liked, as he's still here, 16 years later, travelling extensively and sharing his knowledge with Wexas clients. Although his travels have taken him across Western Europe, the Far East, the US and Australasia, it's Africa, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent that lie closest to his heart. Recent trips have included a self-drive journey through the deserts of Namibia, a luxury cruise down the mighty River Nile, spotting game from a canoe in Botswana's great oasis, the Okavango Delta, and connecting the points of India's Golden Triangle, the historically rich and temple-strewn cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
