The Ghan is an icon of Australian travel, a passenger train running between Darwin and Adelaide via Alice Springs and the cragged landscapes of Nitmiluk National Park. The full 2,979km journey takes two nights, threading a line from the verdant greens of Australia's Top End, across the deep red earth of central Australia to the fertile wine regions of the south. Experience this unforgettable luxury rail adventure before transferring to Arkaba Station in the ancient Flinders Ranges before capping things off with the iconic wildlife and seascapes of Kangaroo Island and a stay at Southern Ocean Lodge.
