Depart Adelaide this morning and drive north through the beautiful South Australia countryside via Main North Road to the town of Gawler and follow the signs to Barossa Valley. Alternatively you can take the picturesque route through the Adelaide Hills, via Chain of Ponds and Kersbrook to Williamstown, a pretty village in the southern edge of Barossa. From there, continue through the Barossa Valley, stopping at one or more of the numerous wineries along the way, including Elderton Wines, Penfold Wines and the contemporary setting of the Wolf Blass Visitor Centre.
