Depart the UK for Adelaide arriving in the city on day 3.

On arrival collect your hire car and make your way to the Adina Apartment Hotel Adelaide Treasury which is located in Adelaide city centre. The remainder of the day is free to explore. The city is easy to get around and there are a multitude of attractions to enjoy, dining is a delight with something to cater to every palate and the beaches of sophisticated Glenelg a short distance from the city.

Barossa Valley
Depart Adelaide this morning and drive north through the beautiful South Australia countryside via Main North Road to the town of Gawler and follow the signs to Barossa Valley. Alternatively you can take the picturesque route through the Adelaide Hills, via Chain of Ponds and Kersbrook to Williamstown, a pretty village in the southern edge of Barossa. From there, continue through the Barossa Valley, stopping at one or more of the numerous wineries along the way, including Elderton Wines, Penfold Wines and the contemporary setting of the Wolf Blass Visitor Centre. Arrive at The Louise in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing at this superb luxury hotel in the heart of the Barossa Valley.

Wilpena Pound
Leave Barossa Valley this morning and head back to Gawler, rejoining the Main North Road. Continue your journey through the town of Clare and on to Melrose, set at the foot of Mount Remarkable. From there you'll head north east, joining the Wilpena Road until you reach Wilpena Pound.
Spend the next 3 nights at Rawnsley Park where you'll stay in one of their luxury eco-villas. Tucked away with breathtaking views these one or two bedroom villas are fully self contained and have huge over bed skylights for viewing the night sky from the comfort of your bed. Continental breakfast provisions are included but the main reception and restaurant are just a five minute walk away.
Included as part of your stay here is a scenic 30 minute helicopter flight which gives a birds-eye view of Wilpena Pound, followed with a full day guided 4WD experience through the magnificent landscape where you'll see the natural flora and fauna, abundant wildlife and learn more about the regions rich geological history.

Clare Valley
Depart Wilpena Pound this morning and drive back south to the town of Clare in the beautiful Clare Valley. This stunning region is known for its cool-climate wines and while a few larger producers are based here, Clare Valley is particularly renowned for its boutique wineries, whose cellar doors are located in close proximity to each other along the Main North Road, making it easy for visitors to experience a wide range of wines from different producers.

Head back south to Adelaide where you're journey ends. Return your hire car to the airport for your onward flight, or extend your stay in South Australia, perhaps visiting nearby Kangaroo Island, famed for its incredible wildlife.
