Location
Noosa, located at the top of the Sunshine Coast, is quickly making a name for itself as one of Australia’s premier beach destinations. It’s a 90 minutes’ drive north of Brisbane and is host to a range of water-sports, a fine collection of shops and restaurants and great access to nearby national parks. The hotel itself is sited right on the main beachfront with Hastings Street (the town’s main drag) directly behind it.
Aside from plenty of seaside activities, there are some delightful walks through Noosa National Park – just a short stroll from Netanya. Slightly further afield, there’s the wilds of Sunshine Coast’s mountainous hinterlands and Fraser Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Accommodation
As pristine as Noosa’s beaches, Netanya features clean lines and whitewashed walls. Set up as a resort, beachfront apartments and penthouses offer generously sized living areas, fully equipped kitchens, spa baths, barbecue facilities and balconies overlooking the beach. Change to a studio flat for a poolside location. Finally, suites offer entertainment areas and private terraces.
Dining
With apartment style living at its core, guests can take full advantage of the cooking facilities. Gourmet breakfast hampers and barbecue packs are available, with the latter including everything from steak, sausages and chicken to the boring bits like bread, salad and condiments. However, with Hastings Street – the area’s restaurant hub – on your doorstep, you may choose to eat out. Here you’ll find everything from light bites to fine dining from around the world, there’s even the famed Noosa Cruising Restaurant.
Facilities
Just ten paces along the boardwalk from your accommodation is the hotel’s best attraction – its seafront location. Here you can make the most of Noosa’s famous surf break, charter a boat for diving, fishing and sightseeing or go scuba diving in Laguna bay. Or simply take a good book and a beach towel.
