Located in the southwest region of Mauritius, LUX* Le Morne is an elegant but timeless hotel and is nestled in the shadow of Le Morne Brabant mountain and surrounded by a gorgeous, sun-kissed peninsula. And, while you'll certainly want to relax on the private beach and indulge with the fine dining and spa, the resort is also close to some charming villages: Tamarin, Case Noyale and Chamarel, which offer a colourful glimpse of traditional island life.
A gentle sea breeze greets guests as they enter the stylish accommodation at LUX* Le Morne. Sleep Tight beds sit alongside elegant wooden furnishings, creating a relaxing ambience with large windows and doors allowing plenty of natural light to spill in from the private terrace outside. All rooms feature a private dressing room, marble bathroom with separate bath and shower, LCD television, DVD player, mini bar, ceiling fan, air conditioning, WiFi internet and safe. Junior Suite Prestige rooms feature an outside shower carved from rock and honeymoon suites boast luxurious private whirlpool baths.
Several superb dining options await, with an emphasis on luxury island dining. Indeed, menus featuring the island's bountiful produce, especially seafood, are designed to be light and refreshing rather than rich and heavy taking the best of Mauritian culinary culture and an abundance of flavoursome international favourites. What's more, they're all served in an array of inspiring settings, dotted throughout the resort.
Lux*Me Spa and Fitness is the resort's signature wellbeing retreat, combining fitness, spa, yoga and nutrition into one stylish and relaxing venue. Beyond the relaxing walls of the spa, there's also a full complement of water sports including diving, kitesurfing, catamaran cruises, fishing and swimming with dolphins. For landlubbers there's also plenty to do from organised beach volleyball matches to ping pong and tennis on floodlit courts. Guests can also try quad biking, horse riding, golf or use the hotel's fully equipped gym.
