This charming, heritage B&B dates back to the 1870s. It's one of the oldest buildings on Phillip Island and a lovely base from which to explore. The building is a two-storey timber framed construction and in the main dining room you’ll find a collection of photographs depicting Glen Isla at the turn of the century.
Glen Isla is just under a mile from the main township of Cowes which offers a range of shops and restaurants. There is a beautiful, sandy swimming beach with access from the back garden of the property. The Philip Island Nature Park and Grand Prix circuit are a 10 minute drive away.
There are six Classic Deluxe rooms which have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and heating, refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and opening windows. These rooms have private entrances from the deck meaning you can come and go as you please.
Breakfast is included in your stay here and includes a cooked to order à la carte menu. There are several excellent local restaurants close to Glen Isla and your hosts regularly check out those that they recommend; they also hold a selection of up to date menus at the house.
Guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi and are welcome to enjoy the beautiful gardens which surround Glen Isla. Phillip Island is well known for its Grand Prix circuit and wildlife however it offers an abundance of other attractions. There are stunning beaches and coastlines to explore, along with a vast network of walking and cycling trails. In addition there are a number of excellent wineries; Purple Hen in particular is widely acclaimed.
