Since leaving university, Gary has spent much of his spare time travelling, starting with a road trip down the east coast of the USA. An overland trip through east and southern Africa was quickly followed by the first of several adventures through South-East Asia. He’s even worked for a SCUBA diving company in Thailand. Visits to South America, China and India were then all interspersed by shorter trips throughout Europe. Since starting a family, his destinations have become a little less “extreme” and is able to recommend between a wide range of family-friendly destinations.
