You could say it was his trip to Vietnam that cemented Charlie's love for travel, so much so that he wrote his university dissertation on the country. It all started, though, with idyllic family trips to the Balearic Islands from the age of four, where he's more recently enjoyed everything from wine tasting in Porto to sun-soaked days amid Barcelona's bars and beaches. His travels have also seen him journey through Japan, China and South East Asia, where he enjoyed the likes of motorbiking through Vietnam, trekking with Thai elephants and travelling through China via a truly epic train journey. Charlie's true love, though, is for all things Mediterranean – ask him about Barcelona’s best tapas bars, Douro’s best port wineries and everything you (didn’t) know about Rome.
