Bert has worked in travel for more than 25 years. After leaving school, he spent 16 years working in British Airways' former high-street travel shops, where he rose to the position of Branch Manager. He flew with British Airways in all its cabin classes - including Club World and First - exploring such places as South Africa, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mauritius, the Maldives and much of the Caribbean and North America. After leaving British Airways, Bert held the role of General Manager at luxury specialist Cadogan Travel for five years, expanding his knowledge of the world's most luxurious hotels. Since joining Wexas, Bert has continued to travel the world, gaining expertise not just on the ground but on the water as well; he is now also an expert in luxury cruising, having sailed with many of the world's finest cruise lines.
