Day 1
London to Vancouver

Enjoy included airport lounge access before your flight to Vancouver, where you'll check-in to The Opus, steps away from Stanley Park, Granville Island and the Inner Harbour in Yaletown, a great base to enjoy one of the world's most spectacular cities, while staying in one of the city's hippest hotels.

Day 2
Vancouver

Spend the day at your leisure in Vancouver. Explore Vancouver on your own or join in for an optional excursion such as the Granville Island Market Tour, Capilano suspension bridge, Vancouver foodie tour or even a day trip to Victoria for whale watching. Day 3
Vancouver to West Coast Wilderness Resort

Transfer (own cost) to Vancouver Airport South Terminal Floatplane Base to board a floatplane for a scenic forty-minute flight northwest via Sechelt to West Coast Wilderness Lodge in Egmont. During your flight you may see Orca whales, dolphins and sea lions swimming below in Howe Sound’s stunning islands and bays. Just before you land at the Lodge you will pass over the Skookumchuck Rapids, the fastest salt water rapids in North America.

Day 4
Princess Louisa Inlet cruise

Today enjoy a cruise of beautiful Jervis Inlet passing towering, 2000m (7000 ft) high cliffs, dozens of waterfalls and historical petroglyphs (ancient rock paintings of Coast Salish First Nations origin). The tour will take you through Malibu Rapids to enter Princess Louisa Inlet, an incredible fjord renowned for its beauty and protected waters.

Day 5
West Coast Wilderness Lodge

Today is yours to either relax at the lodge or choose one of the below included activities:

Option 1 Inlet Zodiac Cruise (1 hrs)

Explore the village of Egmont on an exciting zodiac tour. Experience the power of the currents as you surf next to the world’s best kayakers in the Skookumchuck Rapids, before heading out to Lone Tree Island for a visit with a friendly colony of seals.

Option 2 Guided Kayaking (2 hrs)

Explore the Sutton Islands chain right in front of the Lodge. Depending on the tide, you will head past a fish processing plant and government wharf lined with old-timers’ fishing boats into Egmont’s “downtown” to learn about its history and geography, or kayak west past eagles’ nests and colonies of sea stars

Day 6
West Coast Wilderness Lodge to Sonora Resort

Your stay at West Coast Wilderness Lodge ends when you depart on your privately chartered floatplane for your scenic 30 minute flight to Sonora Resort on beautiful Sonora Island. The island is an absolute jewel amidst the wild beauty and pristine waters of British Columbia’s West Coast. After your arrival, get settled and explore the resort before you enjoy a delicious Pacific Northwestern gourmet dinner.

Days 7-8
Sonora Resort

Sonora Resort is not only a Relais & Chateaux luxury resort, with its stunning setting among towering trees, postcard views and the background music of waves lapping the shoreline, it also allows you to reconnect with nature. Take an optional guided eco boat tour, see grizzly bears, kayak, go rafting, hike the coastal rainforest or try heli-hiking. Fishing is one of the key experiences at the resort, with heli-fly-fishing, river fly-fishing and salmon fishing available. You’ll experience five star accommodations, an extraordinary level of attention and service, and breathtaking outdoor adventures.
