This itinerary takes you between Vancouver and Calgary. Travelling in unmatched style through the mountains, your Rocky Mountaineer experience includes free-flowing drinks and fine dining throughout , as you watch the drama of nature unfold through the curved glass of the train’s observation cars. It’s an experience made all the more memorable with a luxury hotel stay on the shores of Lake Louise, and the chance to delve even deeper into the wilderness with a three-day detour to Kananaskis. Here, in a 4000 sq km wilderness, you’ll stay in a secluded mountain lodge complete with pool, gourmet restaurant and full-service spa. Indeed, it’s the ideal base for days spent exploring tree-cluttered valleys framed by cragged peaks and home to an abundance of wildlife, including bear and moose.
