This is your chance to see the highlights of southern Africa in style. Indeed, in between taking in the natural wonders and unique heritage of Cape Town and Johannesburg, you’ll be treated to an all-inclusive Big-Five safari in Kruger – southern Africa’s premier national park. Here, you’ll return from spotting elephants and lions on included game drives to gourmet meals and an open bar by the campfire. The indulgences continue on the island of Mauritius, where you’ll enjoy five nights of private, white-sands beach and world-class half-board dining. Throughout, you’ll travel in consummate luxury, staying in One&Only properties knitted together by included flight hops and private transfers.
Day by day itinerary
Begin your trip with complimentary airport-lounge access, before boarding your overnight flight to South Africa.
You’ll be met on arrival by a private chauffeur, who’ll see you to one of the city’s most luxurious properties – the One&Only Cape Town. Perched among the fashionable boutiques of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, it offers a private spa island, world-class dining and a stunning infinity pool. Views are also taken in by the private balcony of your marble-accented room. You’ll then have three full days to explore at your leisure. Perhaps to summit the iconic Table Mountain by cable car, wander the incredible Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden or take in the notorious heritage of Robben Island, where Mandela was imprisoned. Aside from some white-sands relaxation, just beyond the city limits there’s also the infamous Winelands and the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Stay: One&Only Cape Town (Deluxe)
Kruger National Park
After a private chauffeur transfer, you’ll make the short flight hop to Sabi Sands – an exclusive private reserve that shares an unfenced border with the world-famous Kruger National Park. And, an included transfer will see you to your luxury accommodation, where you’ll enjoy open-bar drinks, all-inclusive fine dining by the boma fire and terrace views of the wildlife-filled Sabie River from your ultra-chic room. You’ll also settle in to an included programme of twice-daily game drives, with FGASA-accredited field guides and trackers pointing you towards everything from elephant, giraffe and hippo to leopard, cheetah and lion. Rounding off the Big Five, the Cape buffalo and the rare black rhino are special highlights.

Today, an included transfer will see you to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg, where you’ll be met by a private chauffeur for the short journey to your stately mansion accommodation. You’ll stay in a Grand Chateau Suite, enjoying everything from a terrace cocktail bar and tea lounge to a garden-ringed spa and a fine-dining restaurant. Although it offers the perfect way to break up the journey to Mauritius, you might also want to head out and explore Johannesburg. South Africa’s largest city offers superb museums on Apartheid, unique art galleries, and hipster neighbourhoods given over to rooftop bars and inventive restaurants.
Stay: Fairlawns Boutique Hotel, Johannesburg (Deluxe)
After a private airport transfer you’ll fly to Mauritius, where you’ll again be met by a private transfer for the journey to your state-of-the-art accommodation – one of the island’s finest. Here, you’ll settle in to your marbled room to enjoy private-balcony lagoon views and indulgent half-board dining, from prime steak grills and sushi specialities to seafood barbecues, mouth-watering Mauritian curries and artisanal baked goodies. Set on its own private peninsula, the resort also offers much more than exclusive beach access. The spa is superb, the pools sublime and the water-sports range from scuba diving and snorkelling to fishing and paddle-boarding. Then, back on land, yoga classes, bike rides and the tennis courts are perfect for staying active.
