Dating back to 1864, the ornate, Georgian-style building housing the Prince of Wales has seen plenty of history and was actually named in 1901 in honour of the Duke and Duchess of York, who would later be crowned King George V and Queen Mary.
Situated in the pretty town Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Prince of Wales is located 30 minutes from Niagara Falls, right on the doorstep of the city centre. There are numerous shops and restaurants within a short stroll of the front door or, if you would prefer, take a horse and carriage ride from the front steps.
