Located 32km from Walvis Bay on the semi-remote peninsula and in driving distance of Swakopmund, Pelican Point Lodge offers a stunning and unique setting, with the untouched beaches of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Lagoon of Walvis Bay on the other.
Accommodation is offered in the renovated old Harbour Control building at the foot of the Lighthouse, with an option of nine luxury suites. All of the suites are spacious, decorated in warm contemporary style and are designed to take advantage of the beautiful views.
There’s a great restaurant, serving tasty, unpretentious and wholesome cuisine, paired with excellent South African wines. Lavish breakfasts are enjoyed either in the dining rooms or private suites, with lunches available on request. Three-course dinners are a special occasion with elegant table settings, soft lightings and spectacular views on clear evenings.
Common areas include a lounge and deck area, with the majority of activities naturally revolving around the marine wildlife and coastal landscaping. Such include kayaking with seals, dolphin cruises, birdwatching and observing the abundance of wildlife, including sharks, whales, fur seals and mola-mola.
