Straddling the Palmwag area and the iconic Skeleton Coast National Park, the camp is located in one of the most remote areas of the Kaokoveld Desert
Desert | Off the beaten track | Safari
Scenically located in a broad valley in the northern part of the Palmwag concession, the camp offers vast, remote and isolated wilderness, startlingly life-filled. Due to its remote location, Hoanib Camp will only be accessible by light aircraft transfer to Doro Nawas.
The camp itself has seven extremely spacious tents and a family unit, each of which features an en suite bathroom, private outdoor deck, comfortable sitting area and panoramic desert views.
Menus make use of both locally sourced and imported ingredients, with evening meals served in the open-air dining room under an old Leadwood tree, offering incredible desert views.
There’s a swimming pool, a lounge with an open fire and a host of activities, which include guided game drives, nature walks, Skeleton Coast excursions and day trips to a desert oasis.
