Day 1: Boston
Upon arrival transfer to downtown Boston and Nine Zero, a great boutique hotel that has been recognised in Travel + Leisure’ magazine’s list of the ’Best 500 Hotels in the World’ and Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers Choice Awards.

Days 2-3: Boston
Follow the Freedom Trail, a well-preserved pedestrian path that weaves in and out of historic neighbourhoods. Take the ’T’ to Cambridge and Harvard University, shop in the boutiques and upscale stores on Newbury Street. See Boston Common, Copley Square and the cobbled streets and red-brick buildings of Beacon Hill.

Day 4: Cape Cod
Head south to ’the Cape’ stopping en route at Plymouth, the town where the Pilgrim Fathers first settled in the winter of 1620. Continue to Chatham for a three-night stay at hotel overlooking Pleasant Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 5: Cape Cod
Day at leisure to relax at your hotel or to explore Cape Cod with its pretty villages and sandy beaches.

Day 6: Provincetown
Drive to the extreme tip of Cape Cod, to colourful Provincetown and spend the morning exploring the art galleries, quaint seafood restaurants, shops, narrow streets and pretty gardens. This afternoon enjoy an exciting whale watch cruise guided by an expert naturalist followed by an optional New England Clambake Dune Tour.

Day 7: Nantucket - Martha’s Vineyard
Catch the ferry from Hyannis to pretty Nantucket Island. A fully narrated tour will show you one of the best-preserved towns in New England with its magnificent buildings and former homes of merchants and ship captains. After lunch return to Hyannis and drive to Woods Hole for another ferry ride to lovely Martha’s Vineyard. Enjoy a three-night stay at an historic hotel, located in the heart of Edgartown.

Days 8-9: Martha’s Vineyard
Two full days to enjoy any one of the island’s beautiful beaches or rent a bicycle perhaps to see the gingerbread cottages of Oak Bluffs and Gay Head cliffs in scenic Aquinnah.

Day 10: Boston
Enjoy a leisurely morning on Martha’s Vineyard before driving to the ferry and returning to Boston for your flight home.
