Silky Oaks Lodge
Silky Oaks Lodge is a luxury eco lodge in the Daintree Rainforest, located in an unrivalled riverside location on the Mossman River, just downstream from the famous Mossman Gorge. This boutique hotel lodge and Spa is casual and contemporary, with the 50 River and Treehouses - each featuring wide verandahs and luxurious spa baths - designed to connect with the natural surroundings.
Day 1 — Cairns
Transfer to Kewarra Beach Resort & Spa. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, before spending the remainder of the day at leisure savoring the tropical tranquility and private beach. The next two nights will be spent in a delightful "Pandanus" bungalow.
Day 2 — Great Barrier Reef
Transfer to Cairns to board Ocean Spirit Cruises for a full day exploring the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkelling equipment, morning & afternoon tea, a delightful lunch, reef viewing on a semi submersible, and marine biologist’s presentations are all provided.
Day 3 — Daintree
Join your experienced naturalist guide who will take you on a full day safari to Cape Tribulation and the ancient World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, travelling in comfort in a spacious air conditioned 4WD vehicle. Enjoy a traditional Aussie barbeque lunch and a refreshing swim. A Daintree River cruise will provide the opportunity to learn about this significant habitat, which is home to the estuarine, or saltwater, crocodile. At the end of your safari you will arrive at Silky Oaks Lodge, where you will spend the next two nights in a lovely Deluxe Tree House.
Day 4 — Daintree
Spend the day in this amazing rainforest setting enjoying a number of complimentary activities including the Silky Oaks guided Discovery Walk, or a spot of canoeing or river snorkeling in the fresh waters of the Mossman River.
Day 5 — Cairns
Following breakfast, transfer to Cairns airport for onward journey.
