BBC2 - 16th March 2010 at 9pm
At 9pm on Tuesday 16th March, award winning presenter Dan Snow will explore the history of the beautiful Province of Québec in the ’Battle for North America’.
The documentary reveals why Québec has played such a special role in Canadian history; it is where French settlers founded the colony of Canada (New France) in the 1600s and 1700s, and also the site of the Battle of Québec, where the 1759 conquest changed the face of North America.
