Expert-led tours and even an afternoon spent on an evocative gondola ride will bring it all to life. You’ll link the three with relaxing train travel and stays in our hand-picked collection of hotels, known for their personal service, architectural detail and luxurious comforts.

Day 1
Rome

Flying into Rome, a private transfer will bring you from the airport to your choice of hotel. Then enjoy the eternal city amongst hordes of glamorous locals sipping espressos in the central Piazzas or zip past the cities Roman structures on pastel-coloured Vespas, while priests clothed in monastic purple robes wander through Rome's holiest of sanctuaries, The Vatican City

Day 2
Rome

To help orientate you, we’ve included a tour of a collection of the city’s finest sights. The 2nd century Pantheon’s austere façade contrasts with the grand Baroque flourishes of Trevi Fountain and the Piazza Navona – the latter is especially known for its grand variety of architecture with Egyptian obelisks standing alongside statues of Neptune. Further highlights include a trip to the Vatican City for St. Peter’s Basilica, a true Renaissance masterpiece. If you’d rather, there’s a wide range of excursions that you can take advantage of, from gourmet pizza-making classes to tours on Vespa mopeds.

Day 5
Venice

Today centres around a walking tour of Venice’s most impressive sights. It’s a truly atmospheric sight. Your guide will also be able to shed some light on the city’s labyrinthine layout, pointing you between its art galleries, museums and heritage bars.
