Day by day itinerary
You’ll begin your trip with complimentary airport lounge access before boarding your overnight flight to Singapore.
Singapore: Marina Bay and 1920s Singapore bike tour
On arrival, you’ll be met by a private driver, who’ll see you to your luxury hotel. Ideally poised on Marina Bay, views of Singapore’s glittering skyline are enjoyed everywhere from the rooftop infinity pool and cocktail bar to the French brasserie and ultra-modern rooms. You’ll also be perfectly poised to explore, whether you want to tuck into mouth-watering dim sum dumplings at a hawker market or take in the neon supertree giants of the Gardens by the Bay. Along with complimentary heritage walking tours from your hotel, you'll also be treated to a 1920s Singapore bike excursion in celebration of the Singapore Bicentennial. Your expert guide will bring the city's rich heritage sights and characters to life, along with Chinatown’s temples and the Arabic Quarter’s glittering mosques. The included drinks and snacks stop is a nice touch.
Stay: The Fullerton Bay Hotel, Singapore (Deluxe)
Today, you’ll be treated to a private tour of Singapore’s rich heritage, learning how the city transformed from a humble fishing village into one of the world’s greatest seaports. Again, this has been brought into fresh focus by the Singapore Bicentennial, which has seen everything from dramatic light shows to augmented reality tours pop up across the city. You’ll begin in the Financial District, where beautifully restored warehouses now house chic quayside dining spots. Then, you’ll be treated to afternoon tea among the whitewashed colonnades of the Fullerton Hotel, enjoying delightful sandwich bites and just-baked morsels washed down with premium teas and coffees. A tour of the building will also bring to life its past iterations as a fortress and post office. It’s all capped off with a ride on a traditional bumboat along the Singapore River.
Stay: The Fullerton Bay Hotel, Singapore (Deluxe)
Singapore: Sentosa Island
This morning, you’ll be met at the hotel and brought out south to Sentosa – a beach-fringed island just off Singapore’s south coast. Staying in the Capella Singapore, you’ll settle into the lap of luxury, wrapped up in lush gardens. While your room features sea views from its private, sunbed balcony, there’s a spa offering excellent treatments and a full cast of fine-dining restaurants. There's also a full range of complimentary excursions, from cooking, cocktail-making and rum-tasting classes to painting, yoga and art tours. With three days here, you’ll also have the chance to relax on white sands, get your thrills at the island’s amusement parks and play a few rounds of golf on the nearby courses. Of course, the delights of Singapore city are always within easy reach, from its superb museums to its world-famous zoo.
