In the evenings, take advantage of the hotel's superb spa, the perfect retreat at the end of a day exploring the mountains.
Then, head to Budva on the beautiful Adriatic coast for four days of rest and relaxation on some of Montenegro's best beaches. Day by day itinerary
UK - Tivat - Kotor
Fly to Dubrovnik Airport, and transfer – with sightseeing along the route – to your hotel in Kolasin where you'll stay for the next three nights.
Take a jeep tour to Bjelasica Mountain, taking lunch in Eko Katun Vranjak, a traditional village. Bjelasica is a huge mountain located in East Montenegro, and your tour of it will take you through deep forests, clear grassy pastures, and across rocky peaks. Stop off at Katun Vranjak, a group of small cottages located directly below the peak Troglava, from which you can enjoy spectacular views. After your walking tour, lunch will be served in Katun, where you can eat homemade products, and Montenegrin specialties.
Stay: Bianca Resort, Kolasin (Superior)
Kotor - Zabljak
Today, you'll have the option of visiting the Biogradska Gora National Park, with Kiogradsko Lake as its central feature. You will be captivated by the tranquil lake, which is surrounded by an un-spoilt primeval forest.
Zabljak to Kolasin
Transfer to Budva via Skadar Lake, with a visit to a small family owned wine cellar located in the village of Limljani, close to Virpazar. There, you will taste some Montenegrin cheese, ham, olives and wine. Check in to the hotel in Budva for four nights.
Explore the Budva Old Town at your own leisure, making sure to visit the Square of the Poets, the Citadel, Clock Tower, Square of Old City Churches, St Trinity Church, City Harbour, and Open Air Summer Stage. Other activities you can enjoy are a walk under the cliffs to the Mogren Beach, or a longer stroll to the end of Slovenska Beach.
Alternatively, take an optional Boka Bay tour. Visit the small Baroque town of Perast, with a boat tour to the Island of Our Lady of the Rocks. Ride around the whole of Boka Bay, visiting the town of Risan, passing the narrowest part of the bay by ferry, and visit one of the newest and largest developments in the Adriatic – Porto Montenegro in Tivat.
Kolasin to Tivat
Enjoy one of Budva's beaches, explore the Old Town, or take a tour to the historic capital of Montenegro. Alternatively, discover Old Royal Montenegro. This tour includes visits to the former capital of Montenegro; Cetinje; a visit to the Lovcen National Park and Mausoleum; and a trip to the Njegusi village, where you'll taste traditional Montenegrin products, and learn about their production.
