UK to Venice

Enjoy included airport lounge access as you await your flight to Italy. On arrival, you'll be transferred to Fusina or Trieste, where you’ll board your luxurious floating home. As you venture down the Adriatic coast to Greece you'll enjoy opulent restaurants onboard where only the finest ingredients and perfectly paired wines will be served.

Day 2
Zadar, Croatia

Found on the northern Dalmatian coast of Croatia, Zadar is rich with thousands of years of history. Ruled at various times by the Romans, Ostrogoths, and Byzantium, the city became a center of commerce and naval power rivaling that of Venice. Today, Zadar’s history, culture, and architecture draw visitors from around the world, as does Plitvice National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kotor, Montenegro

Anchor in Kotor today where you’ll take in the old port, famed for its well-preserved city wall – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set off by foot to explore the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, a 12th-century marvel, and sample local favourites from the old-world shops and restaurants. Join one of the many included shore executions taking in the best highlights of the city. Knowledgeable guides will reveal the character and hidden secrets of this Montenegro coastal town.

Day 4
Corfu, Greece

Arrive in Corfu, an island famed for its flower-strewn countryside, beautiful coastal scenery and traditional Adriatic villages. Alternatively, take a guided walk through Corfu town, with its quaint streets and local shops. Gythion, Greece

Once a vibrant seaport of the Sparta era, Gythion, with its rich history and vibrant seafood, welcomes visitors from around the world. Walk along the white sandy beaches and explore the historic past with expert local guides. Otherwise, experience the gourmet side of Gythion and visit a local farm, learning about the vegetables, fruits and olives that thrive in the area.

Ephesus, Turkey

Once one of the largest cities in all of the Roman Empire, Ephesus is now home to ancient ruins and a rich history. Take time to explore one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World – the Temple of Artemis. Browse the artefacts of the Ephesus Museum and walk amongst the ruins of the Odeon theatre, signs of a bygone past. Istanbul, Turkey

Once serving as the capital of the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires, Istanbul today offers impressive architecture, historic sites, dining, shopping, nightlife and exotic atmosphere. Spending time in the Old City to explore renowned places, like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace is a must but you can choose from a wide range of included excursions..

Day 10
Mykonos, Greece

Steeped in Greek mythological history, Mykonos was named after Apollo’s grandson, Mykons, and was the location of the grand battle between Zeus and the Gigantes. Today, this island is one of Greece’s most adored destinations due to its picture- postcard setting and growing nightlife. Mykonos is a superb example of Cycladic architecture, and by law even new buildings have to be built in the same style of whitewashed, organic, cube-like buildings. Be sure to plan a day trip to take in picturesque Little Venice, the unique Paraportiani church, and the archaeological dig at Delos.

Athens to UK

After breakfast, disembark in Piraeus and transfer to Athens. Known as the ‘’Cradle of Western Civilization”, Athens is host to some of the most important ruins of our past and a true historian’s delight. Explore the Acropolis, the Parthenon and the Temple of Olympian Zeus and walk the winding streets of Plaka. Speak to one of our specialists to add more time in Athens, to properly explore this remarkable city. Otherwise, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
