Day by day itinerary
Your holiday begins today as you catch a flight to Crete and settle into your beach side hotel in picturesque Hania. Located in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Crete is the largest of all the Greek Islands and enjoys a history dating right back to the Minoan Period of 2600 BC. Home to stunning landscapes, excellent beaches, traditional villages and intriguing ancient sites – it's no wonder that Crete is the one of the most visited islands in Greece. Spend your days here exploring all that this beautiful island has to offer.
Stay: Kriti Hotel, Crete or similar
Enjoy a final breakfast in Crete today and transfer by ferry and private taxi to Santorini, a small but world-renowned volcanic island in the southernmost part of Cyclades known for its whitewashed beauty and chic towns. Reflecting the aesthetic of the island as a whole, Hotel Santo Miramare is a stylish resort decked out in modern, elegant furnishings and comes complete with a private sandy beach on top of numerous sparkling pools. When you're not lounging in the Grecian sun, you can easily explore this postcard-perfect island by foot, but if you're looking for something a little more iconic, opt to travel the island's slopes by donkey. Come sundown head to Oia on the northern side of the island for prime sunset viewing – make sure to get there early to soak in the views with a glass of crisp white in hand at one of the villages many pretty bars.
Stay: Santo Miramare, Santorini
Today, enjoy a final breakfast in Santorini before island hopping via ferry over to Rhenia Hotel in Mykonos. Known for its iconic windmills, this lively island oozes style and attracts visitors time and time again with its dizzying whitewashed charms, golden sandy beaches and hip bar and restaurant scene. Spend your mornings browsing the vast array of glitzy boutiques that fill the maze-like streets before afternoons poolside back at your hotel. Or, if sun lounging isn't for you why not take advantage of the glittering waters of the Aegean sea with a scuba dive around one of Mykonos' many coves. Evenings are to be taken full advantage of here as this cosmopolitan island is known for its top class eateries and is home to some of the best seafood restaurants in the Cyclades.
Stay: Rhenia Hotel, Mykonos
Enjoy a last breakfast in Mykonos before transferring by ferry and private taxi to your next hotel on the sleepy island of Tinos. Unlike the previous islands, Tinos isn't on most tourists radars. In fact, people largely flock here on a pilgrimage as it is home to the Church of Panagia Evangelistria, a sacred Greek Orthodox site. Look past the port town of Hora and the 50 pretty villages dotted across the island all have their own unique attractions. Lazy village life is to be embraced here and there is no better way to do so than by revelling in the quaint location of your sea-side hotel. Spend the next two days at your leisure.
Stay: Tinos Beach Hotel, Tinos
Next up is Andros, a rugged but verdant island popular for its multitude of fantastic hiking routes. As the second largest island in the cyclades, there is much to explore here – even if it's just to find your way around the beaches. With Aneroussa Hotel as your base, spend your last two days of island hopping soaking up the romance of the Grecian way of life.
Stay: Aneroussa Hotel, Andros
After a leisurely breakfast you will transfer onto mainland to spend your final night in Greece's capital. Famed for it's rich ancient history, Athens is one of Europe's most iconic cities. After checking into your hotel, spend the evening at your leisure wandering this magnificent pillar stone of a destination.
Stay: Athens Hotel, Athens
This morning, enjoy a final Greek breakfast spread before it's time to wave farewell to the sunshine as you transfer to the airport and embark on your return flight to the UK.
