Day by day itinerary
UK to Siem Reap
After starting your trip in style with VIP airport lounge access, take your overnight flight to Siem Reap, arriving on day two.
On arrival in Siem Reap, you'll be met your guide and enjoy a private transfer to the hotel. The next few days will be spent enjoying your hotel and its surrounds, such as its stunning spa, exquisite tasting menus in the outdoor terraced restaurant and sundowners in the opulent Bensley Bar. You'll enjoy an included tour of Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s most important temple, watching as it's bathed in sunrise's golden light. Ta Prohm, a temple surrounded by jungle and shadowing banyan trees, is another highlight, as well as the magnificent Angkor Thom monument and the red sandstone walls of Banteay Srei, ‘the Woman's Citadel’. You’ll also visit Kampong Phluk, a charming cluster of villages where houses perch on stilts, nestled among dense mangrove forests.
Stay: Shinta Mani Angkor, Siem Reap (Superior)
After breakfast on day five, take your included flight to Phnom Penh and transfer to your hotel, the spectacular Raffles Hotel Le Royal, where you'll enjoy opulent four poster beds and views of the surrounding manicured gardens in your suite. Spend the next two days combining relaxation by the spectacular pool among the hotel's colonial-style buildings and gardens with visits to the city's most important historical sights. Highlights include a visit to the pagoda-style Royal Palace, dotted with diamond-encrusted Buddha statues and intricate sculptures, but most significant are the sobering Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Killing Fields – a harrowing but important reminder of Cambodia's tumultuous history. We highly recommend sampling traditional Cambodian dishes in the hotel's atmospheric outdoor terraced restaurant (not included).
Stay: Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh (Deluxe)
Shinta Mani Wild
On day seven you'll enjoy a private transfer to Shinta Mani Wild, tucked among three of Cambodia’s oldest national parks, all dense rainforest dotted with mountain peaks that wild elephants, bears, gibbons, tigers and more call home. You'll stay in a luxury glamping tent, perched by rippling streams and waterfalls, spending days exploring with expedition boats on untouched rivers, studying wild forest flora and fauna and enjoying locally-inspired food in the waterfall-side restaurant. Then, the Boulders Spa is a serene way to unwind after days that are as jam-packed or relaxing as you like.
Stay: Shinta Mani Wild
After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to Sihanoukville's empty white beaches and the 5-star beachfront resort Alila. You've got four days here to relax by the spectacular design-led swimming pools, or while away the hours on the powder-white beach just steps from your private villa – many of which have private plunge pools and private decking areas. Spend days island hopping, touring temples and heading on walks through the forested mountains of Bokor National Park, returning to the resplendent Alila Spa that has five double treatment rooms and offers massages, facials and more. Come evening, dine in the luxurious poolside Horizon and enjoy French fusion dishes, or indulge in the thatched-roof beach shack restaurant, with a sand-floor central bar and open grill, offering a mix of Asian favourites and fresh seafood.
Stay: Alila Villas Koh Russey, Cambodia (Deluxe)
