Introduction
Utah is blessed with some of the most remarkable landscapes in the US; prime among them a series of beautiful canyons, national parks, forests and monuments that cover the southern half of the state. In the north the towering snow-capped Wasatch Mountains are a haven for skiers that have played host to the Winter Olympics. Utah's only major city, Salt Lake City, is best known as the world headquarters of the Mormon Church, whose followers make up 70% of Utah's population.
