Fredericton is a beautiful small city that is the capital of New Brunswick. Walk past the Victorian architecture and the historic district that demonstrate the city's military past. Watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Officers' Square in the summer and learn more about the British Army that was garrisoned in the district from 1784 to 1869. There are a number of parks within the city to enjoy as well as a golf course to practice your swing. Stay central to enjoy watersports on the Saint John River that cuts through the city or choose to relax on the beaches of Killarney Lake.

Alternatively you can ski on Crabbe Mountain or take a day trip to explore the nearby Mactaquac Provincial Park. You'll also have the opportunity to stroll around King's Landing Historical Settlement. This portrays the daily life of a typical rural 19th century village in the province in the form of a living history museum.
