Introduction
Mgahinga National Park is the smallest in Uganda, but provides an important habitat for the endangered mountain gorilla. The park is located in the Virunga Mountains and borders the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo - both important habitats for the mountain gorilla.
In addition to gorilla tracking, you can go bird watching, volcano climbing, cave exploring or mountain climbing at Mount Mgahinga, Sabinyo or Muhavura.
