You’ll then make a stop in Bergen, where you’ll have the chance to explore its UNESCO World Heritage-listed wharf, Bryggen, and ride the Fløibanen funicular, before sailing back to the UK. Board the Celebrity Apex in Southampton, from which you’ll set sail through the Solent, past the Isle of Wight and out into the English style. Settle into your comfortable and stylish accommodation, take some time to explore the ship and enjoy a delicious first dinner before bedding down for the night. You’ll spend the next day at sea, with plenty of time to relax and recharge, perhaps with a dip in the pool or a trip to the spa, and to enjoy exquisite onboard dining.

Stavanger
Stavanger offers a wide choice of treasures to discover. Its charming streets climb from the waterfront and are dotted with timber homes painted in wonderfully vibrant colours. The city is a mix of old and new, charming and stylish with an eclectic collection of merchant shops, cafes and historic museums and churches. The Stavanger Cathedral is the country's oldest cathedral, having been built between 1100 and 1125. An easy day hike on Pulpit Rock, the cliff rising over 1800 feet above the sea, offers gorgeous views of the Lysefjord and the surrounding lush terrain

Flåm
Having sailed overnight, you’ll wake up this morning to the resplendent sight of the Norwegian fjords. Your destination is the village of Flåm, nestled in a branch of Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, the Sognefjord, which stretches for more than 200 kilometres. There’s no shortage of ways to explore this awe-inspiring region, whether it be a ride up into the mountains on the iconic Flåm Railway (one of the world’s steepest rail journeys), a kayaking adventure on the nearby Nærøyfjord, or a hike to the jaw-dropping Stegastein panoramic lookout point, where you’ll be treated to stunning views overlooking the fjord. Alternatively, there are tours taking in ancient Viking settlements, waterfalls and wooden stave churches.

Geiranger
Continuing north, you’ll sail through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord, which is hemmed in by steep-sided, snow-capped mountains and renowned for its abundance of cascading waterfalls. The village of Geiranger, deep within the fjord, is a superb base from which to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, including mountain hikes, bike tours, RIB boat safaris and kayaking experiences. This undoubtedly among the highlights of the cruise, and a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the most majestic parts of Norway.

This morning, you’ll arrive in Haugesund on Norway’s west coast. This compact, highly walkable port town is steeped in rich Viking heritage and offers an array of museums, galleries, shops and cafes to explore and swathes of delightful nature on its doorstep. You may decide to join a guided walking tour of the town to learn about its history, visit the picturesque nearby islands of Karmøy and Bukkøy, hike to the spectacular Himakana mountain viewpoint, or perhaps even venture out on a RIB boat safari.
