Perched 1,000 feet above the Pokhara Valley, the Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge has dramatic views over the Annapurna Range. It is also only 30 minutes from Pokhara, and is ideal for those looking for a more relaxed mountain experience. The lodge is also ideally placed for a pre or post trek, or those wishing to take day walks exploring the local communities. 


Accommodation at the lodge consists of 13 bungalows that have 19 rooms, including twin, single and triple options. Built with hand-cut stone, the cottages are tranquil and relaxing, with cool slate and parquet floors, rich Tibetan rugs and handmade wooden furniture. All cottages also have candle lit terraces, comfy chairs and and a Nepali-style courtyard. 


The hotel has two dining rooms, plus extensive al fresco dining areas. A daily changing menu is served, that comprises of a full cooked breakfast, a Nepali buffet lunch, and a three-course continental dinner. There are also options available for vegetarians and those with special dining requirements, as well as complimentary light snacks, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. For a relaxing evening, why not have a cocktail at the fully-stocked bar. 


There’s a library, sitting room and beautiful grounds surrounding the hotel. The grounds contain an infinity swimming pool, landscaped gardens and a range of seating areas with mountain and valley views. In terms of activities, you can try a wide range of walks that focus on culture, wildlife, and birds. You can also take a guided sightseeing tour of Pokhara, mountain biking, yoga and meditation, as well as trying reiki, hara and shiatsu massage.
