The capital's main tourist attractions, including the Red Fort, India Gate, Qutb Minar and Chandni Chowk are all within easy reach.
Accommodation
Designed as a contemporary interpretation of the architecture of Sir Edwin Lutyen, the interiors of the Oberoi's latest incarnation are certainly stylish. As before, all 218 rooms and suites feature large picture windows framing superb views across the Delhi Golf Course, Humayun's Tomb and the city beyond. Bathrooms are all Italian marble and unapologetically luxurious while the addition of walk-in closets and teakwood floors only add to the opulent aesthetic. There's an extensive pillow menu too, and large king-size beds ensure a wonderful night's sleep. Further indulgent additions include 24-hour in-room dining and butler service and a full spread of technology from complementary internet and a selection of the latest movies to the all-new Oberoi Enhance – a state-of-the-art iPad to control lighting, curtains and air-con.
Dining
Delectable all-day dining at Threesixty restaurant showcases a range of culinary delights from across the world, while the fine dining at Travertino combines the very best of Italian food and wine with a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere. Taipan is the hotel's award-winning Chinese restaurant, specialising in Schezwan and Cantonese cooking and offering wonderful views across Delhi from its rooftop position; the Dim Sum lunch, served daily between 12:30 and 14:30 is a real highlight. Other options include the hotel's Club Bar; the perfect spot for an after dinner drink or morning coffee; the enticing Oberoi Patisserie and Delicatessen; and a new rooftop bar serving champagne, cocktails and tapas.
