The stylish inner sitting and dining room are decorated with beautiful antiques and stunning modern art, whilst the shady verandah and lovely pool offer alternative resting places to the lakeside.

Accommodation

The hotel comprises of five unique deluxe rooms, five garden suites, and four Vembanad suites that are ideal for families. All rooms are cheerful and contemporary, and all have terraces and verandas overlooking the lake. The interior design mixes dramatic bright colours with whitewashed wood and white walls. Rooms are also uncluttered, fresh, light and breezy.

Dining

The chef at Purity prepares delicious meals based on the recipes of the Malabar House. Local, Indian, oriental and Mediterranean cuisine are available. Enjoy your meals either in the inner courtyard, the dining room, on your own verandah, by the pool or by the lakeside. A la carte and table d'hôtel menus are available.

Facilities

The hotel has a swimming pool and sun deck, an electric boat, hire bicycles, sightseeing tours, and a spa with two treatment rooms offering excellent Ayurvedic massages. There's also a steam room, and a vehicle for local excursions. Other excursions include trips on the lake, canals and waterways on the electric boat, and village walks in the surrounding rural country side.
