Days 1-3: Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town and check in for four nights at the Four Rosmead boutique hotel. Hike to the top of Table Mountain, swim with penguins at Boulders Beach, eat along the V&A Waterfront, tour infamous Robben Island or dig a little deeper on a historic township tour.

Day 4: Rovos Rail luxury train
Recapture the romance and atmosphere of a bygone era as you step aboard the lovingly restored Rovos Rail Pride of Africa, where gourmet chefs prepare outstanding meals enhanced by the finest South African wines. Depart Cape Town station and head east through the Cape Winelands before arriving at the pretty Victorian village of Matjiesfontein.

Day 5: Kimberley
Enjoy a city tour of Kimberley and visit the Diamond Mine Museum and the world’s largest man-made excavation, the Big Hole.

Day 6: Pretoria
After a hearty breakfast, travel through Johannesburg en route to Pretoria before arriving in Pretoria and transfering to the Illyria House boutique hotel.

Day 7: Sabi Sand game Reserve
Transfer to Johannesburg International Airport for a short flight to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and take a private transfer to Kirkman’s Kamp in time for afternoon tea and a late afternoon game drive. Kirkman’s Kamp is a colonial style game lodge run by safari and conservation specialists, &Beyond, where the emphasis is on luxury and service.

Days 8–10: Sabi Sand Game Reserve
Flanking Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is the birthplace of sustainable wildlife tourism in South Africa and is the oldest of the country’s private game reserves. Home to a vast population of wildlife, including the Big Five and many endangered species, animals here are able to pass unhindered between the reserve and national park. Enjoy twice-daily game drives by 4x4 jeep with your expert ranger and tracker and relax in your room or by the pool in between, or perhaps treat yourself to a spa treatment.

Day 11: Depart for UK
Transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga airport for return flight back to the UK via Johannesburg.
