Located on the edge of Kakadu National Park, Bamurru Plains is more than a luxury tented safari camp, it’s an incredible wildlife experience and the only one of it’s kind in Australia, offering guest the unique opportunity to experience the coastal plains of Northern Australia, home to prolific bird and wildlife.
Ecologically designed with environmental sustainability whilst maintaining its ’Wild Bush Luxury’ standards, Bamurru Plains is made up of just nine luxurious tented cabins designed with the highest levels of comfort and quality throughout. Each cabin is built to trigger the senses, so you’ll see no televisions or high tech computer gadgets, instead open air walls have been constructed to offer magnificent views and allow the sounds of nature to flow on through.
Activities at the lodge focus on exploration of the area with airboat trips on the wetlands, river cruises in search of crocodiles, open 4WD bush drives as well as expert guided walks. Back at the lodge there is a wet edge pool and deck for a splash of relaxation and great spot to do a bit of wildlife spotting of your own.
The nightly rate includes all meals and a large selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Meals are designed to be hearty and wholesome with a hint of local produce whenever possible.
Includes: Accommodation at Bamurru Plains, full breakfast, lunch, dinner, selected beverages, selected activities and return air transfers from Darwin. Flying time is approximately 25 minutes and only scheduled flights are available in conjunction with this package.
