Operating throughout the year and with three guaranteed departures a week from May to October, you'll stay in stylish four-star accommodation on a half-board basis. There is also the option of taking a shorter five or seven-day version if you're pressed for time.

Day by day itinerary

Days 1-2
UK > Athens

Transfer from the airport to The Radisson Blu Hotel in the heart of Athens for your two night stay. The day is at your leisure to settle in to the hotel and explore the city if you so wish.

After breakfast, depart for your sightseeing day tour of Athens. Besides the Acropolis and its iconic crown the Parthenon, highlights include the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the largest temple in Greece, and the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896.

Day 3
Corinth > Nafplio > Olympia

This morning, embark along the coastal road toward the Corinth Canal, and visit the Theatre of Epidavros. From here, continue to the seaport town Nafplio, one of the most romantic and beautiful towns of its region. In the afternoon, venture to Mycenae and visit the archaeological site and tomb of Agamemnon, commander of the Greeks during the Trojan War. 

Continue to Olympia and enjoy dinner at your hotel for the night.

Day 4
Olympia > Delphi

Spend the morning touring the many archaeological sites of Olympia including the sanctuary of Olympian Zeus and the ancient Olympic stadium. In the afternoon, begin cross the plains of Eliad and Achaia on your way to Delphi, hailed by the ancient Greeks as the navel of the earth.

Day 5
Delphi > Kalambaka

Explore the ruins of Delphi and its impressive museum before continuing to Kalambaka at the foot of Meteora's giant rock stacks, which rise to the heavens from the Plain of Thessaly. Perched on their tops is an incredible collection of Byzantine monasteries.

Day 6
Kalambaka > Meteora > Athens

Of the 24 monasteries established by the 16th century, only a few have survived as religious outposts and this morning offers the opportunity to visit these timeless monasteries. They offer breathtaking views, exquisite examples of Byzantine art and the chance to observe the life of hermits and ascetics. 

In the afternoon, return to Athens via Trikala, Lami and Thermopylaie, visiting Leonisad of Sparta's monument on the way and enjoy dinner at your hotel for the night.

Day 7
Saronic Gulf Islands

End with a day's cruising among the cluster of islands to the south of Athens, stopping off at Hydra, Poros and again on Aegina, where you're free to choose between some optional tours or sip a glass of Ouzo by the harbour's charming waterfront.

Day 8
Athens > UK

Transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
