Introduction
Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, is a city accentuated with domes and minarets, palaces and colourful bazaars, which overflow with silks, pearls, perfumes, antiques and glittering glass bangles. One of Hyderbad's oldest areas, Laad Bazaar, is a bustling market geared towards the city's immense female population, with sari sellers, jewellers and any number of other colourful stores. Laad Bazaar is most famous for its brightly coloured bangles adorned with aritficial and semi-precious stones and the bangle makers that travel the world to teach local artisans the secrets of traditional Indian bangles.
Hyderabad has some of the best heritage and historical sites in India and is popular with travellers who enjoy its unique culture, art, and architecture. Two other well-known landmarks are Char Minar and the Golconda Fort, both of which loom seductively in the distance.
