Introduction
Pennsylvania is a mostly rural patchwork of dairy and produce farms, interspersed with forests, waterways and small towns - in all it's a region full of American history, beautiful scenery and varied recreation. The main cities are Philadelphia – the birthplace of modern America – and Pittsburg, a city which reinvented itself from an industrial centre to become a sparkling gem on the Ohio River.
