El Chalten & Fitz Roy (from El Calafate)

Transfer by road from El Calafate to the small Andean town of El Chalten, a three-hour drive that skirts the eastern shores of Lago Argentino and Lago Viedma. After a night at the Don Los Cerros hotel, it’s time to stretch your legs with a guided hike to Laguna Capri for magnificent views over the Fitz Roy range. From there, continue to Lago del Desierto and the wonderfully positioned Agua Arriba Lodge where you’ll spend two nights. Accompanied by almost constant mountain views you’ll have the opportunity to try activities including guided trekking and enjoy scenic boat trips on the lake.
