Summary
For an all-encompassing experience of the best this Balkan beauty has to offer, we'll take you from east to west and south to north on a six-day cross-country tour of Slovenia.
Located at the tip of the Balkan Peninsula, this small but mighty country still packs a punch. Its breathtaking natural beauty and incredible diversity showcases a contrast of influences, including a trio of different climates, from Alpine in the north, to Mediterranean on the tiny sliver of Adriatic coastline and Italian border, and Continental elsewhere.
Staying in the country's capital, Ljubljana, we'll venture out to spend time in less well-known but equally fascinating towns and villages close by, such as Piran, Lipica and Ptuj. And, of course, we couldn't visit Slovenia without stopping to see it's crown jewel, Lake Bled. Beautiful, romantic, awe-inspiring, charming - many have tried to put its beauty into words, but few manage to do it justice.
This holiday is perfect for lone travellers who want to explore one of Central Europe's smallest countries but don't want to travel alone.
