The history of Atlantic Canada’s largest conurbation comes to life during a guided tour, you’ll pass by St Mary’s Basilica on route to Halifax Public Gardens and Citadel. Later, enjoy a scenic drive along the lighthouse dotted coast to the tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove. Learn about the history of the cove with a visit to the impressive de Garthe Monument followed by a tour of the lobster fishery, an integral part of life in Nova Scotia.

Sail to Saguenay today, gateway to the Saguenay fjord and home to some of North America’s most breathtaking scenery. Take the opportunity to get to know the area’s abundant wildlife, look out for seals on a zodiac boat cruise or sea kayaking adventure through Saguenay National Park, cruise along the Saint-Lawrence river for a sighting of the regions humpback and beluga whales or observe Canadian black bears in their natural habitat at the open-air Rivière-à-Mars Nature Centre. Later, round off your final day with a tasting of the region’s local berries, wine and cheese.
