April holidays | Beach | Ocean cruise

This seven-day sojourn to the idyllic shores and pastel-hued towns of the Caribbean makes for a perfect exploration of one of the world's most beautiful destinations – on one of the world's most luxurious cruise ships. Alongside the likes of whale and dolphin safaris and private catamaran trips among sparkling turquoise coves to help you explore as you island-hop from Barbados to St Lucia and beyond, the Seven Seas Navigator is one of the most luxurious offerings at sea. Relax in the indulgent spa, sample five exquisite restaurants for the likes of champagne and wine-paired seafood and steak and sip cocktails in an array of stylish bars with new-found friends. With up to 76 shore excursions included, this is truly the most luxurious way to experience the Caribbean. We highly recommend adding on a Barbados hotel stay for the perfect end to your holiday – simply ask one of our cruise experts when enquiring.

Day by day itinerary

Day 1

UK to Barbados

Begin your trip in style with included airport lounge access before flying directly to Barbados. On arrival, we highly recommend a two or three-night stay at one of the island's many luxury hotels for a relaxing start to your holiday – simply contact one of our cruise experts when enquiring for details. After a day exploring Bridgetown’s pristine beaches and 17th-century architecture, board Regent Seven Seas' ultra-luxurious Seven Seas Navigator in the evening. Unpack in your ultra-spacious suite before sampling the first of the ship's five exquisite restaurants, from the elegant blue-and-silver decor of Compass Rose for fresh European cuisine to prime steak and seafood among the leather and dark wood of Prime 7. Expect evenings on board to be filled with entertainment, from cabaret shows to casino nights.

Day 2
St Lucia

Those famous Pitons and sugar-white beaches of St Lucia await today, and with up to 76 included shore excursions you're perfectly poised to explore – just head to the onboard concierge service and they'll sort the rest. You can even book all your excursions up to a year before departure. We’d highly recommend a ride on the treetop sky gondola today for panoramic views of the island’s rainforests, or you could even join the ship's onboard chef to visit the open-air market and learn about St Lucia's local dishes. Just be sure to make time to witness the iconic Pitons, whether that's on a boat trip with your own guide or in a private minibus, allowing you the chance to customise your time ashore in the comfort and privacy of your own vehicle.

Day 4
St Barts

A favourite of the rich and famous, the Riviera-chic Saint Barthélemy – more commonly known as St Barts – awaits today. Stroll through its capital, Gustavia, for luxury shopping or, for more adventurous pursuits, we recommend a cruise in the ship's semi-submersible vessel or on a rib boat to explore the colourful corals and shipwrecks.

Day 5
Antigua

With 365 powder-white beaches protected by coral reefs, it’s easy to see why Antigua remains a firm favourite of the Caribbean islands. Why not celebrate the halfway point of your holiday with a champagne and lobster catamaran cruise? Or, you could even visit the home of a famous Antiguan chef for a hands-on cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare authentic Caribbean cuisine. Be sure to make time to take full advantage of the ship's offerings, whether that's an enrichment lecture, relaxing on the pool deck with a frozen rum cocktail or indulging in a spa treatment before a night of entertainment at the theatre or casino.

Day 6
St Vincent and the Grenadines

Anchor in to St Vincent and the Grenadines today for the chance to spot whales and dolphins among the turquoise coves or even head out on a private catamaran to nearby Bequia's stone houses and crystal-clear waters. You’ll also recognise Wallilabou Bay as the movie set for several scenes in the Pirates of the Caribbean film trilogy, which can be explored on a private boat, snorkelling or sailing trip.

Day 7
Grenada

Your final stop sees you anchor in to Grenada, where there’s everything from island jeep tours to clear-bottom kayaking over the colourful coral reef on offer. Or, you may wish to simply while away the hours on Grenada's famous Grand Anse beach, the perfect way to relax on your final day. If you've not yet sampled the refined Sette Mari be sure to enjoy dinner there tonight for a showcase of authentic Italian specialties like spice-crusted tuna steak, perfectly paired with a Tuscan wine, before relaxing in one of the many bar areas with new-found friends for your final evening onboard.
