Day 1
UK to Barcelona

After enjoying your complimentary airport lounge access, fly to Barcelona where you will be met and transferred aboard your luxury ship, Seabourn Ovation. On board the vessel you'll discover a selection of fine-dining restaurants available, from Thomas Keller's American cuisine inspired menu at the Grill, the inventive dishes found at Earth & Ocean or the more casual setting of the Colonnade – all offering a gastronomic adventure. As the sun begins to set each evening, head to one of the many free-flowings bars offering panoramic sea views. 

If time allows, venture into Barcelona and explore the medieval streets of the gothic quarter, sampling spanish tapas or head to the iconic sites of La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell to discover the artistic creations of Antoni Gaudi, a Barcelonian legend. Day 2
Sandy Beaches of Palamós

This morning rise to the warm Mediterranean sun and the first of many indulgent breakfasts, before you head ashore to the Spanish beaches that surround the town of Palamos. Head to long sweeping beach of Platja Gran for some well deserved down time and a glass of famous Spanish sangria, before heading into the city's Old Town to walk the narrow lanes. Head inland to Salvador Dali's Castle to admire his surrealist work in the Castles museum or head to Begur, a popular Girona village to find the hidden past of the Costa Brava region – both fantastic options available with Seabourn.

Day 3
Sète & Medieval Carcassonne

Today you'll arrive at Sete, the first of many French ports  you'll visit along the coast, to find a small town with 18th & 19th-century architecture and numerous crisscrossing canals, lined with classic French cafes and bakeries where the aroma of fresh croissants will captivate the senses. The real highlight of this stop, lies outside Sete at the City of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the best preserved medieval fortresses in all of Europe. Walk the cobblestone alleys, gaze upon the stone walls that line the city and admire the efforts that have gone into preserving this historic gem, it's a rare opportunity to step back in time.

Day 4
Monte-Carlo & French riviera Chic

The Principality of Monaco is the epitome of Riviera chic and as you walk along the harbour, lined with mega yachts and where the rich have come to play for decades, don't be surprised if you spot hollywood celebrities or racing legends. Head to the iconic Monte Carlo Casino and try your luck at cards before a short trip to the neighbouring city of Nice, where fine-dining restaurants serve up classic Nicoise cuisine can be found along the elegant French boulevards.

Day 5
Toulon & small riviera villages

Today you'll continue your journey of French riviera glamour as you head ashore to one the Mediterranean's best ports, Toulon, and its Old Town that sits along the harbours edge, with narrow streets, small squares and colourful local shops. From here you can easily visit the sleepy fishing village of St. tropez, made famous in the 1950s by screen legends such as Brigitte Bardot and Sacha Distel, the small village of Cassis where Europe's highest sea cliff can be found or the wine region around the medieval village of Le Castellet, where bold vintage wines and fabulous olive oil can be tasted – all fantastic riviera options.

This evening head to one of the ship's many open-air bars to enjoy free-flowing cocktails as you watch the sunset over the rievara. And, if you're after a little entertainment, make sure to catch Sir Tim Price's collaborative show, which combines animated visuals and live performances.

Day 6
Sweeping beaches of Ajaccio, Corsica

This morning you'll set eyes on the magical island of Corsica, which is steeped in multi-cultural influences where the Italians, Spanish and French have all had a helping hand, which explains why the fresh cuisine and beautiful beaches have made this a popular resort destination. Whether you choose to dive into that book you've been saving on the sweeping beaches outside Ajaccio, paddle the coastline by kayak discovering hidden coves and azure waters or head to the red granite mountains of Calanches de Piana, a UNESCO World Heritage site – you'll experience Corsica at its very best.

Day 7
Livorno & Tuscan masterpieces

After enjoying breakfast and one of the many fitness classes available at the state-of-the-art fitness centre on board the ship, you'll head ashore to the port of Livorno, and the gateway to the world-renowned region of Tuscany. For centuries the Tuscan landscape with its rolling hills, medieval towns and lush vineyards have inspired great artistic masterpieces – which are best seen at the galleries of Florence's historic city centre. Civitavecchia & Roman UNESCO sites

Today you will say goodbye to your new home at sea and the attentive team on board to discover the centre of Italian culture and history in the eternal city – Rome. Walk in the shadows of the coliseum, climb the spanish steps at Trevi fountain, walk the hallowed grounds of the Vatican or enjoy fresh gelato in front of the Pantheon, you'll certainly struggle deciding where to start. Unfortunately, the time will come to reflect on the amazing voyage had through the Mediterranean before transfering to airport for your flight back to the UK.
