Oasis spa in the Jordanian desert
Desert | Relaxation | Spa
Evason Ma’In Hot Springs appears like an oasis 264 metres below sea level in a dramatic rocky terrain beside a thermal waterfall. There are 94 rooms and suites, plus two Royal Suites and a Honeymoon Suite on the top floor of the resort with almost 360-degree views. The rooms feature fresh and unconventional design in natural regional materials.
Facilities include a central pool with direct views to the waterfall, a gym with cardio and weight machines, a well-stocked library of books, DVDs and CDs, relaxation areas with benches and pergolas, and of course the natural hot springs.
A diverse selection of dining options includes a restaurant situated on a cliff top at the edge of the Dead Sea from which guests can glimpse the lights of Jerusalem and watch beautiful sunsets reflecting across the water, and Bedouin-style Zarb at the Olive with breads cooked over fires and dishes slow-cooked for hours.
There’s a rich variety of activities and excursions to local historical and natural sites including the ancient cities of Petra and Jerash, the monolithic rockscapes of Wadi Rum, Jordan Rift Valley and the Dead Sea, as well as local treks and bike rides.
