Maisie Bamford

Working in Europe during summer holidays while reading her bachelor's and master's degrees kicked off a love for travel, entrenched by a backpacking trip around Italy, where she enjoyed the architecture (and gelato) that Rome, Florence, Siena and Pisa offer. Further afield, Maisie's family in the US gives her good reason to visit time and time again, getting to know Virginia, Florida and the Deep South. A road trip from Houston to New Orleans is perhaps her most memorable experience. Closer to home, Copenhagen – with its design, pastries and hygge winning her over – was the start of her romance with Scandinavia. It's a region she's most passionate about and one that she is excited to share with you.
