A new bar carriage, named 3674, has been unveiled on board Belmond's Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. The carriage is decorated in gold and blue-hued patterns, in a sophisticated nod to the esteemed heritage of the train's historic carriage colours and marqueterie.

New cocktail and caviar menus
Moreover, the head barman Walter Nisi has developed a brand new cocktail menu for 2016, alongside a very special caviar menu under the distinguished stewardship of the world-renowned caviar production company, Petrossian, in operation for almost ninety years. Among other fine options, travellers are able to enjoy caviar cubes, shots of the excellent Alverta Royal caviar and the innovative papierusse, a sous-vide caviar sheet used in sushi and sandwiches.
