Later, you'll begin your Slovenian holiday with a private wine tasting, and will sample several different varieties of the best regional wines from a local Slovenian wine producer. After breakfast today embark on a private walking tour. Your guide will explain Ljubljana’s history and show you some of the most picturesque corners of Slovenia’s capital. After your walking tour, take a handmade wooden boat to view some of the old town's major sights from a unique vantage point. After lunch, take a funicular ride to Ljubljana Castle. The castle is Ljubljana's most prominent landmark, which has undergone numerous changes over its rich and dynamic history. The visit is an excellent opportunity for photography enthusiasts, as the castle offers magnificent, panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. After your tour, enjoy a four-course gourmet lunch in the castle restaurant before having a free afternoon to relax in the hotel or explore the city at leisure.

Piran & Optional Škocjan Caves
After breakfast, today is at leisure. We recommend pre booking an optional excursion such as a private visit of the Škocjan Caves, followed by a visit to the coastal city of Piran with lunch included. The most beautiful part of the Škocjan Caves Park is undoubtedly a set of eleven caves known as the Škocjan Caves. They are a UNESCO World Heritage site, and are the only natural Slovenian site on the list.

Lake Bled & Julian Alps
After breakfast this morning is at leisure. After lunch enjoy a half day private tour of Lake Bled including a Private 'pletna' boat ride to the Island of Bled, where you will visit Bled Castle as well as the Church and Tower. Lake Bled and its surroundings are among the most beautiful alpine resorts in the world. The area is renowned for its mild climate, thermal lake water, and beautiful mountain landscape that is reflected in the lake, which make for an excellent day trip. In the middle of the lake is the beautiful Bled Island that has some excellent sites to visit, including the Bled Castle, the town of Bled and the wider countryside of the Gorenjska region. This evening, you'll settle down to a four-course gourmet dinner in the Juliana Restaurant of Grand Hotel Toplice – Bled's oldest hotel. The restaurant has one of the best locations in Bled and chef Simon Bertoncelj creates delicious food focused on seasonal produce and accompanied by local Slovenian wines.
