Day by day itinerary

Day 1

You'll begin your trip in relaxing fashion with included VIP airport lounge access before boarding your flight from the UK to Rome. Upon arrival, you'll be met and transferred directly to the stunning Seven Seas Voyager. Here, the journey onboard is just as important and spectacular as the destination itself – guests will experience all-inclusive luxury alongside exquisite, spacious suites, many of which feature personal balconies. A sprawling pool deck and elegant spa are among the amenities on deck, and in the evening, enjoy gourmet meals in opulent settings, from the leather and burnished wood of steakhouse Prime 7 to the chic French menu of Chartreuse evocative of a fine Parisian dining restaurant.

Day 2

Today sees you sailing to the cliffside cobbles of chic Positano. The Amalfi Coast affords feasts for the eyes round every corner, from its picturesque narrow streets and azure-lined beaches to charming cafes – and Positano is no exception. A sophisticated but laidback ambience immerses white Moorish-style houses that hug verdant slopes – and it all looks onto a shimmering harbour peppered with colourful fishing boats. After exploring you'll head to enchanting Amalfi, where an exquisite 12th-century monastery and imposing cathedral greets visitors – perhaps browse the charming boutiques for locally-made clothes, before enjoying an al fresco pasta lunch on the pool deck or a casual coffee with a stunning mountainside backdrop.

Day 3

After a sumptuous al fresco breakfast you'll head to Lipari along Sicily’s north coast, the gateway to the volcanic Aeolian islands, where turquoise waters line dense greenery and looming cliffs with Mount Chirica dominating in the distance. Explore ruinous towers and medieval buildings that dot the Archaeological Park, as well as a fascinating museum and galleries that featuring 4th and 5th century pottery. For some relaxation head to the Spiaggia Bianca, all sugar-white sand and azure waters, or to Acquacalda’s shores featuring a majestic white mountain backdrop. The ship offers several exciting excursions they will directly organise, from self drives to volcanic island cruises.

Day 4

Sardinia is all sandy beaches intercrossed with hiking trials, rugged landscapes and stone ruins, and today you'll reach it in the form of delightful Cagliari. Its ancient structures reflect its complex and fascinating history – head to the medieval hilltop castello that provides panoramic views over the town, and don’t miss a stroll around the Roman ruins, cathedral and early Byzantine churches. Tonight perhaps enjoy a luxurious spa treatment before an exciting show in the Constellation Theatre that puts on a whole host of entertainment, from musical extravaganzas to cabaret shows.

Day 5
Palma De Mallorca

Today sees you leave Italy to reach Spain in the form of Mallorca, where jagged cliffs and olive groves are dwarfed by the enormous Palma Cathedral, with a buzzing nightlife at its heart. But head further north and you'll find a different personality coming through, where sleepy villages and rocky valleys offer sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Perhaps head on a wine tour after a panoramic drive through Palma where you'll explore its ancient architecture, or head to the caves of Drach, where subterranean lakes lie among deep caves. Take the chance to relax tonight in the Horizon Lounge, perhaps enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail with new friends with the gentle hum of the ship's resident musicians in the background.

Day 6

One of Europe's most exciting cities, Barcelona, awaits you today, where Gaudi’s Modernist creations lie embodied in the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, perfectly explored with a walking tour of the city. Head through the cobbled medieval streets of the Gothic Quarter and sample delicious tapas street food in markets dotted around the city. To discover more of Barcelona's wonderful art history, explore the Picasso Museum and Miro Foundation, and for an exciting night head to a traditional flamenco show, an iconic expression of Barcelona's passionate culture.

Day 7
Saint Raphael

Sailing along the the French Riviera today will see you arrive in sleepy Saint-Raphael on the Cote d’Azur coast, where rocky coves pepper the sandy shore and the spectacular Massif de l'Esterel mountains dwarf the landscape. It all makes for wonderful exploration, from strolls along the coastal footpath towards the volcanic mountain range to exploring the 19th century Notre Dame de la Victorie Basilica.

Day 8
Monte Carlo

Hopping over to Monaco, you'll anchor in to the movie-star glitz of Monte Carlo, where larger-than-life yachts line the sparkling harbour and stylish waterfront cafes and bars are perfect for soaking it all in. It may be known as the home of the rich and famous, but look a little deeper and there’s wonderful architecture to be discovered here. After a stroll through charming market squares, head to the Palais du Prince for the changing of the guards, with other highlights including Jardin Exotique and the 9th-century Romanesque-Byzantine Cathedrale de Monaco. In keeping with your surroundings, perhaps enjoy an exciting game in the casino tonight with the ships onboard offering.

Day 9

Arriving into St Tropez, you’ll be met with lively squares and a picturesque pier, but more of a true French beauty is found in the hilly Provencal countryside beyond this resort. Endless lavender fields line winding roads, charming villages are reached via narrow cobbled streets, and a rugged coastal drive affords views of the magnificent Massif des Maures. Head to a local winery or self-drive a wonderful loop of Provencal villages before a local lobster lunch with a chilled glass of white to make the most of this lovely region.

Day 10

It’s back to Italy today, arriving at Livorno in the centre of Tuscany. Colourful houses line this gateway to Renaissance Florence and Pisa, and a waterside promenade and a modern harbour open onto the Venezia Nuova quarter, laced with winding canals. From here perhaps you'll head on an excursion to Pisa, whose spectacular architecture lies in more than just the Leaning Tower. The duomo, baptistery and historic Camposanto Monumentale combine to form a stunning religious core, along with the Campo dei Niuracoli in the middle of it all, viewed as one of the world's finest pieces of architecture. A dozen churches and palazzos dot the town, reminding visitors of Pisa’s Golden Age. Alternatively, a sojourn into the countryside affords you the charm of the rolling hills of Lucca, where you'll gain a fascinating insight into the winemaking region, passing quaint medieval villages, ancient vineyards and dense forest along the way.

Day 11

Today you’ll arrive in Rome and its splendours, a city of wonderful art, ancient architecture and deep culture. Enjoy street performances at the Spanish Steps or simply people-watch in colorful Trastevere. Don't miss a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, a tour of which can be organised via the ship, where panoramic views of city vistas await visitors willing to climb to the top. Enjoy a stroll around the city, not missing the famous Trevi Fountain, Coliseum, and Aventine Hill. Further out lies the ancient volcanic crater of Bracciano Lake – enjoy a stroll around the quaint town before heading to the historic pre-Roman town of Cerveteri, sampling local wines, olive oil and breads. Tonight perhaps enjoy a traditional pizza from the authentic pizzeria on board the ship, enjoyed in the intimate candelight of Italian eatery Sette Maria at La Veranda, before a relaxing post-dinner cocktail in the Observation Lounge, accompanied by views of the setting Italian sun.

Day 12

Reaching Corsica, you’ll drop anchor at Ajaccio, where an idyllic range beaches come in the form of narrow crescents to great golden expanses. Move inland towards the green-hued mountains and the landscape divides into jagged peaks, plunging gorges and forests peppered with hilltop villages. Head on hiking and kayak trips or taste your way through the island’s unique gastronomy, from nougat factories, oil distilleries and honey-bee farms, and be sure to head to a local café to absorb the culture, of which Corsica is very proud, and sample local wines and cheeses.

Day 13

Neighbouring Minorca offers a delight in the form of Mahon, where charming shops and eateries lie alongside a hilly Old Quarter dotted with traditional Georgian buildings. Enjoy a scenic drive to reach Son Bou Beach, where white sand stretches along gentle slopes dotted with quaint seaside bars. It's full of fascinating archaeological sites, explored with a scenic drive, where you'll speed past endless green fields peppered with olive trees as you approach El Toro mountain. Don’t miss the charming Plaza de España, where market stalls line arcades of a former Carmelite friary, and head to quaint local tapas bars for a delicious lunch of fresh seafood, paella, local wines, and Mahon’s signature cheese.

Day 14

Your penultimate day at sea will see you arrive in the glorious “White Island" that is Ibiza, where whitewashed houses lie alongside pretty coves framed by limestone hills and pine forests. It’s more than just pulsating nightlife, though – a picturesque drive along winding lanes takes visitors to tiny cobbled alleyways and panoramic views across azure bays and forested rocks. Explore designer shops and the sandy stretch of Playa D'en Bossa, one of the island’s most famous beaches, or head on an Old Town walking tour along twisting streets and ancient cathedrals. For your last night on board, perhaps enjoy late-night music with new friends among the opulent décor of the Voyager Lounge.
