Day by day itinerary
Day
1
UK to Copenhagen, Denmark
After beginning your trip with complimentary airport access, you’ll fly out to the Danish capital to take in its effortless combination of Scandi cool and unique heritage. While the Rococo Royal Palace is an obvious highlight, there’s everything from neoclassical mansions to Scandinavia’s largest collection of Islamic Art. An included transfer will also see you aboard your luxurious ship. Here, you’ll be surrounded by designer accents, from the Lalique grand staircase to your marbled stateroom. You can also expect superb full-board dining, with USDA prime cuts in the poolside grill, quartet-accompanied afternoon teas and fine French-dining degustation.

Berlin (Warnemünde), Germany
Enjoy a scenic drive to the German capital and savour landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and the glorious Charlottenburg Palace. Stroll down Unter den Linden, see the site of the Berlin Wall and take a boat ride along the city's canals. Explore on your own and visit one of the many museums. Or discover charming Warnemünde and its lovely Gothic church, market square and seaside promenade.

3
Ronne (Bornholm), Denmark
Largely rebuilt after World War II, Rønne still feels historic because even the new buildings reflect the older architecture. As a result, walking from more modern areas into the charming Old Town (Gamle Stan) is less noticeable. Don't miss the 14th century St. Nicholas Church, one of the more iconic buildings on Bornholm Island, or the massive round-tower castle and its fascinating military museum in the south of Rønne. To better understand the island's seafaring and natural history, visit Bornholm Museum.

Klaipėda, Lithuania
You’ll next make land in Lithuania with Klaipėda. Concentrate your time here on its beautifully cobbled old town, where redbrick buildings line waterways and weathered statues stand guard over quiet squares. Everyone from the Russians to the Swedes and Germans have left their mark here, something evidence by its delightful spread of architectural styles. In particular, don’t miss its now-ruined castle. Built by the Teutonic Knights and first mentioned in the 13th century, it’s now an atmospheric archaeological museum, focusing on its last remaining tower.

Riga, Latvia
For something more complete, Riga’s Castle, although founded in 1330, has been near-constantly reimagined into the riverside vision of green spires we have today. But, the city is so much more than its icon, with its charming centre resplendent in a remarkably complete Art-Nouveau aesthetic. Think cobbled streets lined with pastel-coloured buildings, themselves capped with high gables. Don’t miss the Town Hall Square, whose eponym is a lesson in redbrick extravagance.

6
Tallinn, Estonia
Step back in time as you walk through this beautifully preserved medieval town and discover its upper and lower levels, the guild houses, the churches and squares, the famous apothecary shop and the exquisite town hall. See delightful parks, Baroque palaces and a ruined 15th century convent. Or visit a lovely recreated rural Estonian village by the sea.

7
Helsinki, Finland
Heading over the gulf, you’ll arrive into Helsinki. The Finnish capital impresses with both a neo-Renaissance heritage and a full gamut of daringly contemporary architecture, from steel churches hewn from rock to chapels of dramatically curved blonde wood. Otherwise, the Suomenlinna is a special highlight – an 18th-century fortress that spans five islands. It’s a UNESCO-listed gem. You might also want to indulge with that most Finnish of traditions– the sauna. Our pick is the Löyly for its cinnamon buns and seafront location.
Admire the city's stunning modern architecture, visit its lovely parks and bustling open-air market. Take a harbour cruise past forests, beaches, villas and a ruined Suomenlinna fortress that spans five islands. Or visit historic, colourful Porvoo, Finland's second oldest town

Stockholm, Sweden to UK
You’ll end your cruise in Stockholm. After breakfast on your final day, transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
If you wish to extend your stay in Stockholm, speak to one of our specialists for details. Stockholm is well worth a few days. The city is spread over 14 islands, with several pretty bridges pointing towards its historic centre – Gamla Stan. Here, regal art galleries, mazing alleyways and the world’s largest still-inhabited royal castle compete for your attention. Wonderful parks and the impressive Vasa, the magnificently restored 17th century warship that sank in the harbour on her maiden voyage.
