Then, after your first night onboard and the chance to explore the ship, you’ll settle in for a day at sea, enjoying everything from included fine dining to the indulgences of the on-board spa.

Stavanger, Norway
This morning, you’ll arrive in the port city of Stavanger on Norway’s west coast. Explore the waterfront with its whitewashed wooden houses, explore fascinating museums and visit the impressive cathedral, all part of city tour, one of a number of excellent excursion options. Otherwise, you might choose to explore the town’s religious roots on a visit to a monastery, take a train ride north along the beautiful coast, or get active with a guided hike to Pulpit Rock for stunning views across Lysefjord.

Geiranger
Having sailed overnight, you’ll wake this morning in the very heart of Norway’s emblematic fjords. With the town of Geiranger as your base, you’ll have the chance to enjoy everything from hiking and biking to kayaking, RIB boat tours and coach trips over high mountain passes. It’s an unforgettable opportunity to experience and explore one of the world’s most beautiful regions.

Flåm
Your fjord adventure continues today as you arrive in the small, fjord-side village of Flåm at the end of pretty Aurlandsfjord – a branch of the far larger Sognesfjord. The scenery here is truly magical, and you’ll have the chance to explore it with a choice of shore excursions. There are guide hikes, visits to Viking villages and tours taking in nearby stave churches. A not-to-be-missed highlight is a trip on the Flåm Railway, the steepest standard-gauge railway in the world, which winds its way through mountain valleys and past dramatic waterfalls.

Haugesund
Your last stop in Norway sees you back to the coast and the port town of Haugesund – the homeland of the Viking kings. You might decide to delve deeper into the town’s rich history on a walking tour, or head out to explore the coastal hiking trail. Another excellent option is a drive out to the Arquebus War History Museum to learn about the region’s resistance to Nazi occupation during WWII, while the likes of RIB safaris and ferry rides will introduce you to nearby islands and waterfalls.
